Long Island is at a crossroads.

Families are being squeezed by rising costs. Our communities are under pressure from one-size-
fits-all mandates coming out of Albany. And too often, government is working for itself—not for
you.

As your Assemblyman, I didn’t just talk about these problems—I delivered real results. I’ve
fought to protect our communities, lower costs, defend local control, and bring common sense
back to government.

And I’m proud to have partnered with Senator Jack Martins on many key pieces of
legislation—proving that when Long Island leaders work together, we can deliver real results for
our communities.

Now, I’m running for State Senate to take that fight to the next level.

Here’s what I’ve done—and what I’ll continue to fight for:

Lower Costs. Cut Taxes. Restore Affordability.

Long Island is one of the most expensive places to live in the country—and Albany keeps
making it worse.

I’ve led the fight to:

• Cut taxes and oppose reckless spending

• Stop unfunded mandates that drive up property taxes

• Deliver targeted tax relief for seniors, veterans, and working families

• Protect homeowners from new and hidden taxes

In the State Senate, I’ll push for a simpler, fairer tax system that lets you keep more of what you earn—and makes Long Island affordable again.

Public Safety First—Always.

Safe communities don’t happen by accident—they happen when we support law enforcement and enforce the law.

I have:

• Backed law enforcement and worked closely with public safety leaders

• Fought to roll back dangerous criminal justice policies

• Passed legislation to combat emerging threats like AI-generated deepfakes targeting children

I’ll continue to:

• Push to fix broken bail laws

• Crack down on repeat offenders

• Ensure our police have the tools they need to keep our neighborhoods safe

Stand Up to Antisemitism. Protect Our Values.

Hate has no place on Long Island—or anywhere in New York.

 

I’ve taken action to:

• Combat antisemitism on college campuses

• Support legislation holding bad actors accountable

• Promote education and awareness to stop hate before it starts

I will always stand up for our values, our communities, and the safety of every New Yorker.

 

Defend Local Control. Protect Our Suburban Way of Life.

Albany bureaucrats shouldn’t dictate how our communities grow.

I led the fight against state overreach and helped stop efforts to:

• Override local zoning laws

• Force high-density housing into suburban neighborhoods

• Strip decision-making power from local communities

I’ll always stand for one simple principle:
Local decisions belong to local communities—not Albany.

Protect Property Rights. Stand Up for Homeowners.

Your home is your biggest investment—and it deserves protection.

I successfully led a statewide effort to crack down on squatters, closing loopholes and restoring rights to property owners.

Because in New York:
Property owners should have rights—not criminals exploiting the system.

Smarter Government. Real Accountability.
Government should be transparent, efficient, and accountable to taxpayers.

I’ve fought for:

• Independent audits and oversight

• Fiscal accountability in every new mandate

• Stronger consumer protections

• Data-driven solutions to prevent waste and abuse

We all want clean air, clean water, and a healthy environment—but Albany’s approach has been
costly, unrealistic, and disconnected from reality.

I’m taking a smarter path:

• Advancing a “Blue Economy” to protect and grow our ocean and coastal resources

• Supporting local environmental restoration efforts, including shellfish and water quality initiatives

• Fighting for responsible energy policies that balance sustainability with affordability

We can protect our environment without crushing taxpayers and small businesses.

Strengthen Education. Empower Parents.

Our schools should prepare the next generation—not push political agendas.

I’ve:

• Fought for local control of education

• Supported teachers with real resources—not mandates

• Advanced civic education to ensure students understand our Constitution and system ofgovernment

classroom.

Innovation, Technology & the Future Economy

As Ranking Member on the Assembly Science & Technology Committee, I’ve been leading on
the issues shaping tomorrow:

• Passed legislation protecting children from AI-driven threats

• Advanced policies to regulate emerging technologies responsibly

• Promoted innovation and economic growth across Long Island

I’ll work to make Long Island a hub for innovation, research, and high-paying jobs—not a place people feel they have to leave.

I’ve fought to ensure that those who built our communities—and those who need support—are

• Tax relief for seniors on fixed incomes

• Support for individuals with disabilities

• Expanded access to healthcare and mental health services
